  • A locked camera setup  
  • Clear submission guidelines and evaluation criteria 

Your mission?

Transform the given sequence into a breathtaking cinematic experience by applying advanced rendering, VFX, lighting, and compositing techniques.  

Participants will be provided with:  

  • Register to the challenge via the link
  • You will receive a 10-15 seconds base animation sequence
  • Clear submission guidelines and evaluation criteria 
  • Submit the output along with unreal engine viewport screenshots within 7 days of date of registration
  • Jury shall review and select top 10 finalists

Road to Finale 

The top 20 finalists will have to enhance their submission output to 60 seconds video with a meaningful narrative (theme shall be announced exclusively)

Finale at WAVES:

  • Top 10 Finalists shall be eligible to participate in WAVES Finale at Jio Convention center Mumbai
  • The finalists shall pitch their sequence to the judges comprising of leading VFX Supervisors, technology experts, Business heads of top Animation, VFX, and Gaming companies
  • The top 3 winners shall receive cash prize upto INR 50,000*, sponsored perks, personalized networking and pitching opportunities with VFX supervisors, and top AVGC companies.
  • Students – Open to school, institute, and university students (proof of enrollment required).  
  • Professionals – Open to freelancers, working professionals, and enthusiasts from VFX, Animation, Gaming, and Filmmaking industries.
